His research interests are in Political Economy, Development Economics, and Corporate Finance. He has focused his research on studying the economic and political legacies of Pinochet's dictatorship, the effects of anti-corruption audits in the private sector, the allocation of public sector jobs, the role of internal markets in business groups, and the Colombian post-conflict.
