Mounu works as an Adjunct Professor at the Economics Department in Universidad del Rosario. He holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University and a M.A. and B.A. in Economics from PUC Chile. Here you can find his CV and his Google Scholar profile.

His research interests are in Development Economics, Political Economy, and Corporate Finance. He has focused his research on studying the legacy of Pinochet's dictatorship, the effect of anti-corruption audits in the private sector, the patronage in the allocation of public sector jobs, and the role of internal capital market in business groups.
