In March, 2025 the City of Lake Oswego Public Works Dept. planted a native Oregon White Oak Tree in the same location to mitigate the removal of the Heritage Sugar Maple at Third St., and C Ave.

Tree Planting at Stafford Grove
On April 29, 2025 Jeff Williamson, Parks Crew Leader and assistant planted a native Cascara Tree at Stafford Grove on Sunningdale Rd. This tree mitigates the 2019 removal of the Heritage Elm on First Street. FAN-Forest Hills N.A. board members and neighbors attended the planting.
