Torbay Fishermen in Ringsend

Sarah Blackmore, my g.g.grandmother was born in 1826 to Thomas Blackmore (1780-1849) and Mary Johns (1779-1853). Sarah married my g.g.grandfather Joseph Gempton in Brixham in 1849. Three of Sarah's brothers, Samuel Pearce Blackmore (1826-1890), George Blackmore (1803-1858) & Alexander Johns Blackmore (1814-1885) formed part of the fishing family group that were from Brixham that took up residence in Ringsend Ireland. The attached document - The Torbay Fishermen in Ringsend by Edmond P. Symes - documents the events as they unfolded through the 1800's. The Blackmore families are mentioned on Page 145.
