The Legend of Sword and Fairy (LSF, also known as Chinese Paladin, 仙劍奇俠傳), is arguably the most famous single-player Computer Role-Playing Game in the Chinese-speaking world. With its earliest version released in 1995 by Softstar Entertainment, the game has been enjoyed by tens of thousands of players worldwide throughout the decade.



About this Fan Site

This site is created to introduce LSF to the English-speaking world. It doesn't matter if you are a long-term fan or totally new to the game, you are always welcome to join us and be part of the community!


This site contains the following:


  • English Translation Project. This game is officially only available in Chinese. The goal of the Translation Project is to develop a patch to translate the whole game into English. The 2001 single-player remake version of the game will be the basis.
  • (closed due to inactivity) Wiki. The LSF Wiki is a site aiming at providing a comprehensive guide to the game.



The Legend of Sword and Fairy has since grown into a cultural phenomenon. So far, many sequels and prequels, and two TV live-action adaptations have been made.
