Dr. BARKER was married last week to Miss YOUNG of Nashwaak (York Co.) upon whom, it will be remembered, the doctor claimed to have performed the remarkable faith cure. Miss Young was unable to walk for several years except on crutches and was bedridden a greater portion of the time. The doctor, hearing of her condition and that all medical remedies had failed, went and visited her and succeeded by some remarkable means in raising her up from her sick bed and she has been gaining in health and strength since and was soon after able to walk about without the use of crutches. On Thursday the wedding ceremonies were celebrated at the residence of the bride's father, James YOUNG, Nashwaak. - Fredericton (York Co.) 'Gleaner'

Dr. Jacob Harry Barker and Sadie moved to Maine USA at some point.
