Special Events

This list contains our annually occurring special events. We usually hold additional special events in April as part of our celebration of April's Month of the Young Child that may not be listed here.Please refer to our Calendar for additional special events.Annual Birthday Bash

First Saturday in April from 10:00–12:00pm in the BFA Middle School Gym and Multipurpose Room. This free birthday party for all Fairfax children will include a variety of activities to encourage children to explore, create, and get messy while having fun! It will have a tumbling area, bounce castle, and art & craft activities.

Annual Welcome Infant Social

First Saturday in April from 10:00–11:45am in the Fairfax Community Library. Fairfax families who have had or adopted a baby between January 1 through December 31 of the previous year are invited to attend our Annual Welcome Infant Social. Families will have the opportunity to visit with other families and personalize a Library book dedication to their child. Offered in conjunction with the Fairfax Community Library.

Big Truck Day

Usually a Saturday in April from 9:30 am–11:00 am at the BFA Fairfax Elementary Parking Lot. Children will have the opportunity to see and explore various “big trucks” and equipment from local companies/organizations. This event is held rain or shine!
