LTBF occasionally sponsors peacable, educational opportunities like the one shown above. Politicians, staff and the public have the chance to learn about current failings of the parole system, the magnitude of the problems and about the possibility of making positive changes.

- Food distribution in communities in need
- Monthly legal clinics done by former lifers and group member attorneys
- Liberated lifers speaking at high schools and youth detention (violence prevention)
- Liberated lifers acting as mentors to those still inside in terms of board preparation
- Applying pressure on Governor's office to abide by the decisions of his parole board
- Organizing term to life prisoners with reversals from governor and their families to build the pressure
- Developing brochures which deal with the lifer him/herself and the consequences when the reversal happens
- Membership organization — education, support, mentoring
