Byron Riley Incarcerated 21 years. Sentenced 15-to-life. Reviewed by BPH 7 times. Board denied parole 6 times. Eventually found suitable (1), then reversed (1). CDC#E59078

Carlos Orduna Incarcerated 29 years. Sentenced 25-to-life. Reviewed by BPH 4 times. Board denied parole 4 times. Court ordered suitability finding April 26, 2010. Awaiting Governor decision, due late September. CDC#C49931

Darlene Brazil Incarcerated 24 years. Sentenced 15-to-life. Reviewed by BPH at least 2 times. Found suitable for parole June 23, 2009. Reversed November 19, 2009. Appeared before the board after being found suitable a year before and received a 3-year denial by the BPH. CDC#W26147

Mary Jo Montoya Incarcerated numerous years. Reviewed by BPH and found suitable for parole March 7, 2002. Parole decision reversed by Gov. Pete Wilson. Reviewed by BPH again July 2004. Current Governor reversed parole decision. (Pictured at right, behind her daughter.) CDC#W17575
