Learning Outcomes:

TEACHING, LEARNING, AND THE CURRICULUM.

Teachers implement curriculum plans, that include methods and strategies for applying technology to maximize student learning. Teachers:

1. facilitate technology-enhanced experiences that address content standards and student technology standards.
2. use technology to support learner-centered strategies that address the diverse needs of students.
3. apply technology to develop students' higher order skills and creativity.
4. manage student learning activities in a technology-enhanced environment.

PRODUCTIVITY AND PROFESSIONAL PRACTICE.

Teachers use technology to enhance their productivity and professional practice. Teachers:

1. use technology resources to engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.
2. continually evaluate and reflect on professional practice to make informed decisions regarding the use of technology in support of student learning.
3. apply technology to increase productivity.
4. use technology to communicate and collaborate with peers, parents, and the larger community in order to nurture student learning.

SOCIAL, ETHICAL, LEGAL, AND HUMAN ISSUES.

Teachers understand the social,ethical,legal,and human issues surrounding the use of technology in PK-12 schools and apply those principles in practice. Teachers:

1. model and teach legal and ethical practice related to technology use.
2. apply technology resources to enable and empower learners with diverse backgrounds, characteristics, and abilities.
3. identify and use technology resources that affirm diversity
4. promote safe and healthy use of technology resources.
5. facilitate equitable access to technology resources for all students

The next class session is a technology workshop. Class attendance will be optional IF you meet the following conditions:

1. you must complete the infographic and post it to your Action Research website prior to next Wednesday class session if you are a Wednesday student and prior to next Saturday if you are a Saturday student. Email me ( docraygen.lmu6080@gmail.com ) that you have completed ALL the items on this list and a link to your work (it should be the same as the one listed here.)

2. you must be prepared to present your Action Research on April 29 in 5-7 minuets.

3. Your technology page is linked to all your technology as described in Session #6:

a. An Online Lesson - Any kind of lesson. One that you actually used.

b. Create a Google Form (survey, assessment, grading) & Embed it.

c. Create a Google Presentation or Prezi & Embed it.

d. Embed a YouTube Video (best if your own video creation) (How to avoid looking at youtube ads and suggested videos - Thanks Kevin!)

e. YouTube Channel or Playlist Instruction Video Example: www.youtube.com/docraygen

f. Link to your Teaching Website - Your own site and/or your school sponsored site where you list assignments.

g. Your Action Research projects are both posted

If your lessons are behind a password protected website, please provide screenshots on your website.
