Personal Stories

So this is a short little video I made. It's based from personal experience, but I also had the chance to be in a non-audition dance group that helped me a lot. Coming into college with no dance experience at all, I was a little intimidated by those who had prior dance backgrounds, but I discovered soon enough that everyone has to start somewhere and it's never too late to explore a passion. Watching dance videos online was usually helpful, but always entertaining. I've spent hours on YouTube watching different choreography and I'll probably spend countless more in the future. With a lot of time and practice, I've grown a lot as a dancer over the past year, but there will always have more to improve on.

The point of this page is to encourage users to post your own stories and clips of choreography or dancing. You all have a story to tell, and I feel that sharing a part of our own lives really brings us together as a community and allows others to feel that they are not alone in their struggles. Whether it's just a video about your journey as a dancer or a clip of you performing a piece, please feel free to post it to the feed. As a community, we should support each other in our efforts and provide supportive feedback to videos. Please don't feel too embarrassed to post. We all start somewhere, and from that point, the possibilities of growth are endless. Hope you all share!
