My research interests fall within the applied cardiovascular physiology and exercise physiology domains. I am particularly interested in studying hemodynamics of the heart and peripheral circulation from an integrative physiology perspective. Much of my work has sought to examine how exercise or diet based perturbations affect the cardiovascular system. It is my global research objective to involve young and developing scholars in cardiovascular research aimed at enhancing our understanding of health and disease.
