Step 7: Evaluate

Now that you've answered all of the questions in each step, it's time to come to a conclusion on how credible this source is. Post your answers to the following questions in this blog post.

• If you were writing a research paper for your freshman composition class on this topic, would this be a source you could use? Why or why not?

• If your teacher asked you why you chose to use this source, what reasons would you give your teacher to justify your choice?

• If you did not think that this would be a credible source, where might you look for a more credible source?

• Finally, write a 3-5 sentence annotation (summary) of this source that evaluates its credibility and states why this source is or is not credible.
