Silver mountain targets, being open targets are quite different and require a lot more testing to validate the various claims made for them. There are far more parameters to test. Vary few accuracy tests exist for SMT and a lot more needs to be done, especially at 1000y where it is expected that performance will fall off markedly - especially for a 223. These are the Silver Mountain 4 sensor targets. Maybe, if they bring an eight sensor target to market, it will be better.

SILVER MOUNTAIN TESTS AT 880y in 2017. Well setup, 3 cartridges, about 120 precision measured shots. This represents the very best that can be achieved by Silver Mountain Targets perfectly setup.
1000y TEST of SMT SMT claim this test (not done by us) is flawed but as far as we know is the only available serious test of SMT at 1000y. SMT have never provided any verified equivalent test results.
