Closing Ceremony

Come see God at work.

Registration Deadline

Midnight on March 28th, 2024

Please fill in the registration form to be on the Gate List.

Registering does not obligate you to attend. BUT you have to be on the Gate List to get in.

Closing will be on the afternoon of Sunday April 14th.

After registering you will be contacted with final schedule and instructions.

We encourage you to read the  "Guidelines for Prisons" letter  before coming to the Estelle Unit.

The Estelle Team invites all to come join us at the celebration of a Closing Ceremony and witness what GOD is truly doing inside the prison during a Kairos weekend. What you will witness is the participating inmates sharing a brief testimony of what these 3 days meant to them. It really is something to see - make it a little mini mission trip and car pool up with Church members. It is an experience to go inside a maximum security prison but more so it is truly a touching event that you will never forget.

To attend a Closing Ceremony you must be 18 years or older and complete the online application form before the deadline posted. The deadline is usually 2 weeks prior to the actual date of the Closing. Last minute additions are not permitted. On the other hand it is not a problem if you apply to attend and then are unable to make it. So we encourage you to apply early and put the date on your calendar.

Here is how the application process works.

1. Submit the Online Registration Form using this link.

2. After our Closing Coordinator receives the Closing Registration Listing, you will be notified by email with further instructions. The instructions may go out just a week before the actual Closing. This notification is a manual process so it could take slightly longer.

3. The warden will follow TDCJ procedures in approving applications received.

4. If the warden does not approve your application, you will be notified.
