1. When can I start Accessing the course?
Access into your course management system will be on the first day of class. Be sure to understand the procedure to login, user ID, and password.
2. How much time will I need to spend on this course? This is a 3 credit hour course and as such a typical amount of time required will be 10-12 hours per week. This includes doing readings, assignments and taking assessments. Some students will need more and some less amount of time.
3. What do I need to access the course? You will need a computer with access to the Internet on a daily basis.
4. What are the advantages of online class? The main advantage of online classes are convenience and flexibility. Because online courses do not have set meeting times, students can choose when and where they want to complete their coursework. Online classes put students in control of their learning.
5. What are the disadvantages of online class? Online classes are just as challenging, if not more, than on-campus classes. If you do not feel comfortable using a computer, than online classes may not be your best option.

7. Do I need to buy the textbook from the Oakton Bookstore? Yes, since the book also comes bundled with an access code you will need to do the project appropriately.
8. What kinds of practice quizzes, review material and study materials are available? Once you are enrolled in the course, the textbook is accompanied by a website with ample review and quiz material. 9. Testing Considerations? There is one on-campus test requirement for the class. The test will need to be taken either at the DesPlaines or Skokie Campus Testing Centers.
