This course is an opportunity for students to replace a grade earned in their Biology 1A or 1B course. Students who have not yet taken the course for credit during the regular school year are not eligible to take this for credit. It may be taken as a preview of the course. Please note that this is an online course but you will be required to take the final exam in the classroom on the last day of the term (July 3 for session 1 and July 20 for session 2). Teacher is available by appointment during session as needed.

Credit Recovery - English 9A/B, English 10A/B, English 11A/B, English 12A/B (Branka Cvejic)
This is an online course, however, attendance is mandatory on the first day of class for each semester: June 17th (Monday) and July 3rd (Wednesday). You are required to meet Ms. Cvejic in room A204 for a detailed course overview: navigating the website, course expectations and deadlines.
This is a standards-based English class with an emphasis on high school entry level reading (comprehension and vocabulary development), literary response and analysis, writing, listening and speaking strategies and critical thinking skills. A variety of literature (poetry, short stories and novels) will be used to enhance various grammatical and writing skills. An emphasis will be placed on completing summer reading and essay writing.

Spanish 1, 2 and/or 3 for is an online remediation course designed for the high-school level. The course combines online learning with live skype conversations to help students get up to speed with material that they may have struggled with during the school year. Students can access the course from any location and at any time of the day. Please contact the professor once you have registered to get instructions for completing the course successfully.
Credit Recovery - US History A/B (Pete Pagnucco)

United States History is a challenging course that is meant to enhance the students’ ability to reason and think like an historian. It serves as a hybrid class intended for a majority of classroom learning, with regards for those who may miss a small portion of class do to summer scheduling conflicts. It also fulfills the obligation for those who need credit recovery for either, or both, semesters. It is a two-semester survey of American history from the Age of Exploration and Discovery to the present. Solid reading and writing skills, along with willingness to devote considerable time to homework and study, are necessary to succeed. Emphasis is placed on critical and evaluative thinking skills, writing, and interpretation of original documents. In this required eleventh grade course, students analyze and evaluate American political, social, and economic behavior during major periods in the nation’s experience. Multiple factors that affect continuity and change in historical settings are studied, in addition to the outstanding contributions of individual Americans. The course traces the change in ethnic composition of American society, the movement toward equal rights for racial minorities and women, and the expanding role of the Federal government.

World History is a challenging course that is meant to enhance your ability to reason and think like a historian. It is a survey of World History from the renaissance to the present. Solid reading and writing skills, along with a willingness to devote considerable time to reading and study, are necessary to succeed. Emphasis is placed on critical and evaluative thinking skills, writing, and interpretation of original documents.
