On the first day of the reMAKE Education Summit. I was able to attend a makerspace tour, visiting four local makerspaces. I was also able to make a reMAKE t-shirt and water bottle using heat presses.
Wednesday night, I was able to make another vinyl pressed shirt.
I also was able to press a design onto a metal water bottle using a special heat press and program. We used a new to me, online platform called pixlr to design a label that would be printed onto the water bottle.
I went with a simple design to print onto my bottle, but it could have been much cooler.
The sublimation station used special ink and paper to print images (either black and white or color). If I could go back and do it again, I would have printed a picture!
