Life in Utah

City life: We are located in Salt Lake City, with over one million people in our immediate urban area and about 2 million in the larger metro area. We haveĀ  city amenities such as a symphony, museums, nightlife and restaurants...

Outdoor activities: Uniquely for a city, we are immediately adjacent to the mountains. Our lab is within a 5-minute walk of the edge of the urban area, where there are mountain biking trails and an 8000-foot peak.

We are half an hour from hundreds of miles of hiking and biking trails, 6 world-class ski resorts, and countless climbing routes. Within about 3 to 6 hours by car are national parks including Zion, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, Arches, Great Basin, Grand Teton, and Yellowstone.
