  • How do I modify a Firefox extension to work with Flock?

    • it is possible to manually edit the extension to attempt to add support for [higher versions of] Flock.  First, download the xpi file for the extension.  Once you have it, open it up in an archive manager such as WinRAR [ or http://www.7-zip.org/].  Locate the file install.rdf and open it up in notepad or your favorite text editor.  Locate the Flock section, and locate where it is defining the max version.  Change this to 1.0, add it back to the xpi file
