HOUAT Samir

Prof. Samir Houat is a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Mostaganem, Algeria. He graduated from the University of Science and Technology, mechanical engineering department in Oran, Algeria, in 1988 with a BEng diploma, in 1991 with a Magister diploma, and in 2007 with a Phd (Doctorat d'Etat). He held several teaching positions and held the position of head of the mechanical engineering department at the University of Mostaganem until 2011. He directed and/or participated in approximately 7 research projects funded by universities or l'UE (Tempus). He has been a member of the technical committees of several national and international congresses, seminars, and reviews. 

Currently, he leads a laboratory for numerical and experimental modelling of mechanical phenomena and also directs a research team who works on the analysis of heat and mass transfer phenomena in the fundamental field and its applications, including the use of the mesoscopic methods analysis based on lattice Boltzmann method
