A citizen of the world born to a Lebanese father and a French mother, I was brought up in a multicultural context and continue live in such situations. I was born in Beirut, lived a bit in France and finally grew up mostly in Dubai before coming to Amsterdam. These previous experiences allowed me to be prepared for this city where my studies have led me to meet students from an unimaginable amount of different origins. One of my many interests is people but another big one is media arts, or cinema more specifically. I stay updated about the film industry and media and really enjoy the art of filmmaking Logically, one of my passions is watching a lot of movies and TV-series. My appreciation or media deepens in my exploration of video game which have been a large part of my childhood but also Music that fills in any blank and consumes me through my ever expanding palette of taste. I enjoy practicing sports like Handball or Tennis but also admire the mediated giants such as basketball and mixed martial arts. I have also taken up photography as a hobby in order to develop my media creating skills as an addition to small filmmaking projects growing up. My love for people and media combined with my analytical and statistical thought is what has made me into the Communication scientist that I am today, focusing on Entertainment Communication in order to best understand the media psychology behind our consumption and enjoyment of entertainment and arts.
