East-Asian weevil, Pseudoedophrys hilleri (Faust, 1889), considered as invasive in U.S. was introduced with planted trees to Eastern U.S. This pest is known as damager of leaves of the ornamental trees and shrubs.
Recently it was found in abundance on Quercus and Ulmus trees in urban park of Decatur town (DeKalb Co., GA)
