RGB cable

Tranlation with Google help - Sorry :-)

There isn't in the original project the wiring diagram of the RGB cable.

I told myself, I will draw and deliver it for the completeness.

I used a cable for a VGA monitor, cut out its endings and tried to solder it to the mini-DIN connector.

It worked only out with just a superhuman effort.

Unfortunately even the thinnest type of cable I got is too thick, so to get it into the connector housing is possible only under the condition

of shortening protection against bending. Slip the cover then over the connector assembly is hell. I do not mention the soldering of pins

on which you need an eagle eye, a steady hand, lightning-fast reactions and nerves of steel. You correctly guess that the pins body is made of thermoplastic,

so the contact with the solder makes the pins melting of the connector. Realy terrible job.

I recommend rather to use unshielded cable as it is used in the original sold kits.

A ready cable MiniDIN 8pin could theoretically be to get, because it is an older standard for the serial cable for MAC,

but it is expensive and it is only available in the USA.
