First Grade
May 1 - If a man will not work, he shall not eat. 2 Thessalonians 3:10

May 8 - Do not plot evil against your neighbor. Zechariah 8:17
May 12 - Serve one another in love. Galatians 5:13
May 15 - This is love for God; to obey his commandments. 1 John 5:3
May 19 - If you love me, you will obey what I command. John 14:15
May 22 - No school. No memory.
May 26 - First day back after a long Memorial Day Weekend. No memory.
May 29 - Because I live, you also will love. John 14:19

Dear Parents,
If there is a snow day, and there is another memory the next day, skip the snow day memory and learn the one for the day. If there is no memory the next day, the snow day memory will be due.
Dear Parents,
Memory will be on Tuesdays and Fridays. The children will need to know the book, chapter and verse along with the words. When it comes to a commandment, they must say which one it is and the commandment, so that they gain an understanding of what they are learning. When it comes to the First Article, please also have them state that, plus the words after it. Again, so that they gain an understanding of what it is. The date stated before each memory is the date when the memory should be learned for. If you have any questions please let me know.
