First Grade

May 2 - Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.  Matthew 5:48

May 6 - If a man will not work, he shall not eat.  2 Thessalonians 3:10

May 9 - The wicked borrow and do not repay.  Psalm 37:21

May 13 - Do not plot evil against your neighbor.  Zechariah 8:17

May 16 - Serve one another in love.  Galatians 5:13

May 20 - This is love for God; to obey his commandments.  1 John 5:3

May 27 - If you love me, you will obey what I command.  John 14:15

May 30 - Because I live, you also will love.  John 14:19

Well done good and faithful servant.  

No more memory this year.

Dear Parents,

Memory will be on Tuesdays and Fridays.  The children will need to know the book, chapter and verse along with the words.  When it comes to a commandment, they must say which one it is and the commandment, so that they gain an understanding of what they are learning.  When it comes to the First Article, please also have them state that, plus the words after it.  Again, so that they gain an understanding of what it is.  The date stated before each memory is the date when the memory should be learned for.  If you have any questions please let me know.
