Matthew Berg is a professor of physics in the Department of Physics at Kansas State University (KSU), an Associate Editor for the Journal of Quantitative Spectroscopy and Radiative Transfer, ad co-founder of CloudSci LLC. He was formerly an associate professor at KSU and an assistant professor at Mississippi State University. Professor Berg received a Ph.D. in physics from KSU in 2008 and a B.Sc. in Engineering Physics from the Colorado School of Mines in 2003. His graduate studies at KSU were supported by the NASA Graduate Student Researchers Program. Following graduate school, he held a National Research Council - DoD Biological Defense postdoctoral fellowship at the U.S. Army Research Laboratory from 2009-2010. Professor Berg joined KSU in 2016.
