This Privacy Policy explains how the Labour Archive GPT works and how information is handled when you use it.
The Labour Archive GPT is a research assistant that searches a curated archive of public labour-market documents and helps users:
find past material on a topic;
summarize archive material;
draft structured text using archive material only;
check whether a text is consistent with archive material.
This GPT is intended for research and policy-analysis use.
When you use this GPT, the following information may be processed:
the text of your prompt or question;
the archive passages retrieved in response to your question;
any files, citations, or document references you ask the GPT to use;
limited technical information needed to run the GPT and its actions.
This GPT is designed to work only with public documents in the archive.
We do not operate a separate user account system for this GPT.
We do not intentionally collect:
your name;
your email address;
your login credentials;
payment information;
location data;
cookies for tracking;
analytics for advertising purposes.
We do not maintain a separate database of user prompts or chat transcripts on our own servers for this experiment.
To answer questions, the GPT may send your prompt to OpenAI’s systems and use OpenAI Actions to search the archive vector store. OpenAI’s GPT documentation says that GPTs can use actions to retrieve data from external systems, and public GPTs with actions require a valid Privacy Policy URL.
The archive search returns relevant document passages so the GPT can answer your question.
We do not sell your data.
We do not share your prompt or the retrieved archive passages with third parties except as needed to run the GPT through OpenAI’s services and any connected API used for the archive search.
If you use this GPT, your prompts and any files you submit may be processed by OpenAI according to OpenAI’s terms and privacy policies. OpenAI says that consumer content submitted to ChatGPT may be used to improve model performance depending on the user’s settings, while business/API offerings are treated differently by default.
Because this GPT is only an archive-search experiment, we aim not to retain user data ourselves.
Any retention, logging, or usage records created by OpenAI or by the connected API are governed by the relevant OpenAI terms, settings, and policies.
We take reasonable steps to limit access to the archive and to keep API keys private.
Do not submit confidential, sensitive, or personal information unless you are authorized to do so.
This GPT is not intended for children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will show when it was last revised.
