Elks Memorial
The Elks Memorial Ritual Ceremony is conducted by the Houma Elks Lodge #1193 on the first Sunday of December of each year.
The Memorial is in recognition of those who have passed away in the past 12 months and prior conducted in remembrance. It’s a message of hope, against a backdrop of music and poetic radiance, ensuring that every deceased Elk will be remembered as long as Elkdom lives. Elks are never forgotten. Their virtues are written on the tablets of Love and Memory.
A listing of our deceased members can be found on the web at HoumaElks.org at the following link.
