I believe teaching is a creative and dynamic process that occurs both in and out of the classroom.
While I have limited experience teaching in the classroom, I was a student for 25 years. My extensive experience working with teachers and students inside and outside the classroom has shaped my approach to teaching.
My teaching philosophy has three core components. First, I believe in an interactive classroom that encourages learning and critical thinking. Second, I believe that mentoring students contributes to their personal and academic growth. Third, I believe that continual preparation and honest evaluation of successes and failures is an integral part of becoming an excellent teacher.
