My name is Elizabeth Caulk!
I earned a Masters of Education in Early Childhood Education with initial teaching certification from Grand Canyon University in December 2019 and was a 2019 Exemplary Teacher Award recipient. In 2003, I graduated cum laude from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Public Relations.
Throughout my career, I interned at The Late Show with David Letterman in New York and worked locally in Columbia, SC at EdVenture Children’s Museum, Carolina Children’s Home, and Nelson Mullins Law Firm. Upon having three children with my husband Shane, I began volunteering in the classroom and on the PTO at local Lexington School District One school.
Over the last two-years, I served as an Instructional Assistant at Gilbert Primary School and interned as a student teacher at Deerfield Elementary School. I had numerous opportunities observing, teaching whole and small group lessons, and working with students. I have always dreamed of being a teacher and now that dream is a reality!
Please enjoy exploring my online digital teaching portfolio to learn about me and my teaching philosophy!
