Microcontroller Video Game Performance Assessments

Some projects below are adopted from Cornell University School of Electrical & Computer Engineeering -

Designing with Microcontrollers - ECE 4760 Link

Collingswood High Technology - Cornell University EE476 Link

PONG2 Video Game Link

Memory Video Game Link

Canteroid (Breakout) Video Game Link

Tetris Video Game Link

Note: Many of the Cornell microcontroller designs are on a STK500 development board; with many using Sega Genesis controllers for input.

ALL Collingswood Tech student projects are "free standing" - first tested on a breadboard and then built on a prototype board; both powered by filtered voltage regulator circuitry.

Enclosures are also designed and created, like the "Space Invaders" example below, with On/Off Switches and power light indicators added to complete the product design!

To make FULLY FUNCTIONAL projects at a lower cost, Sega Genesis and Nintendo controllers, when used, are reverse engineered, emulated and an integral part of the final design!
