Even if you normally use Microsoft Word, please consider using LibreOffice Writer for this paper. LibreOffice has the significant advantage of being a free and libre cross-platform office suite. It also has a lot of freely available documentation available.
First of all, make sure that you have the font Linux Libertine installed (see the sidebar "Fonts").
Please use a recent version of LibreOffice Writer (at present, the most recent version number is 4.1.4). If you have an old version of OpenOffice.org installed, you should first uninstall it before installing LibreOffice.
After installing LibreOffice, download the ZIP file below, unzip it, and begin by reading README.TXT, which is hopefully self-explanatory. Note that you'll still need to read and follow the style sheet (which is independent of LibreOffice Writer).
If you prefer to use the direct descendant of OpenOffice.org Writer, which is now Apache OpenOffice Writer, please install the latest version of Apache OpenOffice (at present, the most recent version number is 4.0.1). The provided ODT files are compatible with Apache OpenOffice Writer.
If you feel that you have no choice but to use Microsoft Word, DOC files are provided as a workaround, but these are untested and very probably don't completely faithfully reflect the ODT files (see README.TXT).
Note added on 2016/03/03: The previous version (v2.0d) of the EISS LibreOffice Writer style package was used for EISS 10. The present version (v2.0e) is the result of a small cleanup that doesn't affect the look/style.
