Research Statement

I am interested in aberrations of cognitive flexibility and motivation in eating disorders, in particular anorexia nervosa. In order to understand the underlying biological mechanisms I examine functional, resting state and structural MRI data using well-established software suites, such as SPM, Freesurfer, and FSL. With the goal to preserve interoperability of these heterogeneous tools I introduced Nipype, which allows an efficient and state-of-the-art processing of our acquired MRI data.
