Match play

League competition:

 East Grinstead Chess club play in the Sussex Chess league.   We are currently fielding two teams in Division 2.  For results so far, please see the Season 2023/24 tab in the menu.  Previous seasons are also included in separate tabs.

Cup competitions:

We have also entered two cup competitions this year (23/24) -  The McArthur cup; and the Paul Watson Trophy.  see separate tab for details.

McArthur Cup:  29.01.24   East Grinstead v Sussex University  5 - 0.    East Grinstead progress to The final where we will meet Lewes.

Paul Watson Trophy:  East Grinstead met Shoreham in the quarter finals on 26.02.24 and won the match 3- 1 and progress to the semi final against Bognor and Arun.
