East Grinstead Chess club play in the Sussex Chess league. We are currently fielding three teams - Two in Division 1, and one in Division 3. For results so far, please see the Season 2025/26 tab in the menu. Previous seasons are also included in separate tabs.
We have also entered two cup competitions this year (25/26) - The McArthur cup; and the Paul Watson Trophy.
McArthur Cup: 25/26 East Grinstead v Sussex University 2-4 . East Grinstead are knocked out in first round.
Paul Watson Trophy: East Grinstead beat Horsham 3-1 in round 1 and beat Bogner & Arun 3 - 1 in round 2. We now face Hastings & St Leonards in the final. Date TBD
