I created this page to document my academic activities, in particular my research and teaching to date, and to host preprints of my work that may not be freely available. It also contains some other links related to my research, such as links to computational output and other supporting materials that do not feature in my published articles. Otherwise I document things such as my conference participation, mostly for my own interest. My research interests are primarily in Discrete Mathematics, Combinatorics, Algebra and applications of these branches of mathematics, with particular emphasis on Coding Theory, and Design Theory. Consider this my incomplete online Curriculum Vitae. 


I am an Assistant Professor in Mathematics in the School of Mathematical Sciences at Dublin City University. I teach mathematics modules taken by Science students at all undergraduate levels. My current focus is on developing and delivering modules as part of the Futures Programme.


Prior to this I was a Postdoctoral Fellow and a Lecturer, at the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Applied Mathematics at University of Galway. I received the Irish Research Council Government of Ireland Postdoctoral Fellowship for the two year period beginning October 2018, for my project proposal on constructing combinatorial structures and codes.  

Between July 2016 and June 2018 I was a postdoctoral fellow in at University of Rijeka with the discrete mathematics research group in the Department of Mathematics.  I was employed as a member of the research group working on project 1637 "Codes and Related Combinatorial Structures", funded by Croatian Science Foundation.


I was an assistant lecturer at University of Galway between September 2015 and June 2016.  This position began when I completed my PhD in mathematics under the supervision of Prof. Dane Flannery in 2015.
