Early Life

This is about Edward’s start in life and his background information. Edward Barron Chandler was born in Nova Scotia on August 22, 1800. In Nova Scotia he received his early education and lived there until the age of 23. He then, moved to New Brunswick to study Law until 1823. In 1827, he entered politics as the elected member for the County of Westmoreland. Also in his life, he was a major proponent in the rail way to connect the Maritimes to Canada which was one of his major goals in life. On February 6 1880 he died at the age of 80. He was a great man from Nova Scotia, that studied hard and was then elected into parliament.
