The development of integrated engineering curriculum for school teachers in collaboration with Latvian and Lithuanian partners. https://www.facebook.com/careerBaltics/ The project is targeting fighting with an insufficient quantity of students in technical areas in universities of the Baltic States resulting in unemployment and lack of specialists in fields of design, technology and economics by the targeted design of reliable teaching programs for schoolteachers coming from the collaboration of schools, universities and business institutions. The participation in development of the new International MSc Curriculum “Mechatronics 2018” as a committee member. The curriculum combines subjects from IT, electricity and mechanical engineering fields.
Preparation and management of the international courses:
Development of the new course “AR9213 Data warehouses", 4 credits, 40 students, for the first MSc program in Afghanistan and Internship in Kabul University (06.11.2015-20.11.2015), IT department. First master’s degrees defended in spring 2016. Intense course with duration of three weeks includes 4 integrated lectures followed by 4 hours of practical work in computer class per week and six individual assignments.
Intensive course "Computer-Aided Nano-engineering" in cooperation with Georgia Tech Associate Professor Yan Wang (Spring 2012)
