TEACHING PORTFOLIO

Currently, I am giving cources on undergraduate and graduate levels. To improve the content of the courses I have also passed the Industrial Professor internship and actively participated in applied science projects.

The most useful experience comes from teaching different target groups of starting from education of youngsters from High Technical School, students from third countries, international MSc and PhD students, national students for regular and distant educational programs, middle management and top management specialists. Each time it is important to clarify the needs of the student, the initial level of knowledge and practical experience, student’s motivation and the ability to obtain new information.

Current courses:


Spring, Tallinn University of Technology, Department of Logistics, Information Technology in Supply Chain, starting from 2016, 4 credits, 42 students.

I had primary responsibility for this course development and teaching, including grading. The course ran for eight weeks and consisted of 2 hours of integrated lectures and tutorials, 2 hours of teacher-assisted practical work in computer class and individual homework assignment per week. The development of the course was supported by ASTRA project. The course was highly assessed also by students, who were excited by options to be guided directly by IT professionals and to work with different IT tools: BPM, EDI, ERP, CRM, Web Services, Smart Sensors, Workshop simulation, Data Warehouse.

I am the second primary responsible professor of this course development and teaching, including grading. The course ran for eight weeks and consisted of 2 hours of integrated lectures, 2 hours of teacher-assisted practical work in computer class per week and four individual homework assignment during the course. The development of the course was supported by ASTRA project. During this course students received theoretical knowledge of supply chain management sub-proceses and practical experience in process mapping, simulation and analysis in BPM software.
