• • Undergraduate of the Year 2008 (Destaque Acadêmico 2008, in Portuguese), 2008

This distinction is given annually by the Engineering Society of Rio Grande do Sul (Sociedade de Engenharia do Rio Grande do Sul, in Portuguese) to the engineering undergraduate finalists of the major universities of the Rio Grande do Sul state, one distinction per university, who achieved the highest final average grade among all finalists of the engineering undergraduate programs of their respective universities in that year. • • CACISM Undergraduate Award (Distinção CACISM, in Portuguese), 2009

This recognition is given annually by the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of the Santa Maria city (Câmara de Comércio, Indústria e Serviços - CACISM, in Portuguese) to the engineering undergraduate finalists of the Federal University of Santa Maria, one distinction per engineering undergraduate program, who achieved the highest final average grade among all finalists of their respective engineering undergraduate program.
