Norihiko Matsuda
I am an assistant professor in the Economics Department at Florida International University. I am an applied microeconomist with focus on international economic development and labor market policy. The goal of my research is to understand what interventions can increase labor productivity and job growth. I received my PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the academia, I worked for international development programs as a practitioner in Southeast Asia, South Asia, and Africa for five years.
