The workshop is being held at the Banff Centre in the heart of Banff National Park - Canada's first and oldest national park. Calgary, Banff and surrounding areas have been named a top destination to visit in 2014 by both the Guardian and the New York Times.
The deadline for submissions is May 1, 2025. For this year’s workshop we invite submissions of political economy papers. While our keynote address will be in the area of civil conflict, we welcome submissions in any area in political economy. Additionally, we encourage submissions from scholars in all disciplines, including Economics, Political Science, and Public Policy. Established researchers as well as young scholars in the field are encouraged to submit. Complete papers are preferred but we will also consider extended abstracts with the main results.
To submit a paper, please send an email with the paper attached to empiricalmicro.workshop@gmail.com.
