A chilly night, but not as chilly as it was last Thursday.

Purple Hype played Nauti in the early game. It was back and forth with both teams going on runs early before Nauti caught fire. According to Jamonte, Nauti had the lead 10-4 and Tom had activated Mario strength. Nauti continued to pour it on, scoring the game's final points to win 15-6. Dr. B. had a great huck for a score just as I arrived.

REDemption faced Overnight Oats in the late game. The score was 2-2 early, with Red playing a very patient zone defense that finally forced a turnover in the endzone, followed by a full field cut for a break score by MV. Oats did not panic and stayed with a conservative offense. Oats took half up 8-4. Red held to score the first point of the second half, cutting the Oat lead to 8-5, but only managed to score one more point the rest of the way. Oats won 15-6, matching Nauti's close-out in the early game.

The regular season concludes with Halloween games on Monday, October 20th. Unfortunately, the forecast is calling for rain. If Monday is rained out, we will hold Halloween on Thursday, October 23rd when we start the playoffs.
