Black Sheep edged Beets 14-11 in the early game. It was a one point game with only minutes remaining. Black got some clutch points down the stretch. Jared had a crazy score where he made a deep cut and tipped the disc to himself. I think Brian may be undefeated when Luca wears his East Fishkill jersey on the sidelines.

In prime time, Blue's Clues and the Lean Green Bean Machine kept the score close early. Blue took half. Green pulled within three points, 6-9, in the second half, but got stuck on six for quite a while as Blue built a big lead. Green got a couple of points late, including a great huck from Ox to Bri. Blue got the win 15-8.

In the late game, White defeated Red 14-11 - the same margin as the early game. Kate had a lovely assist to Matty Vaccaro.

With tonight's results, Black retained a one game lead in the standings at 8-1. White is in 2nd at 7-2. Black's only loss of the season so far was to White, 11-7 back on May 19th, the first night of the season. Beets are in third at 5-4, with Red only one game behind them at 4-5. Blue's Clues are at 3-9. Green Beans continue to grow, but the team has yet to harvest a win.

The league will play games this Thursday, July 3rd. The match-ups will be:

• Blue - Purple at 6PM

• White - Green at 7:15PM

• Red - Black at 8:30PM

These are makeups of the games originally scheduled on June 23rd, when the field was closed due to extreme heat.

A reminder, the league also has our annual Halloween in July games coming up on Thursday, July 10th, just a week from Thursday. Wear a team-colored costume that you can play disc in during hot weather. Team themes are not required, but always encouraged. Check in your team chat or ask your captain if they have a plan. Candy will be served!
