Rain threatened, but ended up coming far later than expected.

Blue's Clues took half vs White. White took the lead in the second half, and won a close one 11-9.

Red and Beets played a back and forth game in prime time, with Red playing that Jimi zone that players at the Kiln know and love. Tyler appeared to put Beets up by two with only two minutes to play, but discussion on the field led to the conclusion that he was not in the end zone. (From the sidelines, he definitely looked to be in.)  As play resumed, Beets turned the disc over, and Red scored on a huge huck to tie the score at 9-9 and force a Universe Point! Beets were not to be denied, though. They received the disc and got the hold and the win 10-9. Great game.

The late game matched first place Black Sheep and last place Green Beans. The Beans were missing a lot of players and got help from Vin, Luke, and Jamonte. Black's starting lineup all appeared to be ten feet tall. Black took half up 8-0 on a behind the back pass for a score. Green finally got on the scoreboard in the second half. Bri and Kate made cuts all night, and I believe they scored four out of Green's five points. Black got the win 15-5.

This Thursday is the league's annual Halloween in July. Wear a light weight, color appropriate costume you can play disc in. Check your team chat for potential team costume ideas. Candy will be served.
