East Fishkill Ultimate's first ever DoW game

The league held its first ever DoW game on Monday, August 18, 2025. Waldie organized Spikeball that also attracted local players, including a number of East Fishkill veterans, including Diane Turner. We even had Emily Mildner on the sidelines, sadly recuperating from a knee injury. 

The game featured seventeen players who divided into two teams. Great cuts, chilly handling, big hucks, vertical and horizontal stacks, defense, layout grabs. We were not worthy. The sidelines were buzzing with cheers, encouragement, and excitement for our upcoming fall season. Bobby brought the youngest DoW to the event.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this game a big success, especially to all the DoW who played in the game. I'd like to make it either an annual event, or a part of every preseason before we draft teams. We could also make it official on the DiscNY calendar to get more visibility.
