Betty White defeated Black Pearl 15-10 in the early game. It was great to see Jimi back on the field. Black Pearl has had consistently strong DoW attendance, but they have needed to play 6-1 or mismatch because other teams have had limited DoW attendance. The league is interested in rebalancing that if we can, but it may not be as easy as it seems with part-time players, work schedules, and travel. The captains will discuss. This Thursday and next Monday might have some dips in attendance from club players too, since Regionals are happening in Devens. (We want the Funk! Gotta have that Funk!)

Red Rum had an 8-4 lead at half over Bluepers in the late game. Red appeared to have the game on lock, but with the score at 14-8, Bluepers staged an epic five point run to make it 14-13, with hard cap hitting just before they could try to tie and force a U-point. I'm told Royal-T already had his cleats off and put them back on for the last point.
