The early game featured Moldy Bats versus Zombeeeees. Diane played for both teams, switching from Bees to Bats at half. The teams kept the score really close until the first point of the second half had them tied at 8-8. After that, the Bees swarmed for a 5-0 streak that went all the way to hard cap. Zombeeeees got the win 13-8. With the win, the Bees also clinched the 1 seed in the playoffs. Bats have clinched the 4 seed, but they have shown they can hang with any team in this league, including a win versus Bees earlier in the season.

In the late game, Spooky Scary Skeletons faced shRED. Skellies DoW thrive in late games, and they had four at the game tonight. shRED was short-handed and played with only three DoW and only nine players overall. "I would like this win," said John Waldie. "Sorry to also have to bail." Fortunately, shREDs numbers may have been small, but their spirit was high and the team got key contributions from every single player. shRED took half 8-7 and received the pull to start the second half. Skellies looked for opportunities to haunt shRED, including a great score by Zach that caused Marisa to rush the field with Callie the skeleton on her back. shRED played a lot of chilly offense, and hung on to a two point lead. With hard cap approaching, shRED scored the final two points of the game to earn a gutsy win 12-8. Depending on Monday's results, Skellies and shRED could swap the 2- and 3- seeds, but either way the two teams will meet again when playoffs begin next Thursday.

The final games of the regular season are on Monday, and they are our Halloween games. Wear a team colored costume you can play ultimate in. Candy will be served.
