Ice Ice Babies welcomed Ashley to the league and she made her debut in the early game vs Black Pepper. Pepper received the pull and scored. The teams exchanged points until it was 2-2, when the Babies went on a tear, building a big lead by half. The second half began with a long back-and-forth point, with Babies ultimately getting the hold. Pepper made a seasoned effort, but it was not their night. The Babies' athleticism on defense kept Pepper ice, ice cold. The final was 15-7, Babies.

In prime time, Mimosas started the game against Best Fronds with three, count them, THREE, break points to set the tone of the game. The plants didn’t let that stop them from photosynthesizing and building chemistry with their team, point after point. A few Fronds to highlight: Alex D stepped up as handler, Brad followed through with great coaching and handling, and Luke’s deep cuts have sprouted! But the real star of the show was a random pickle ball bro walking across the end zone. when a few seedlings asked him to walk around, he rudely refused and allowed Mufasa to unfurl, causing a few interceptions with his hippidy hops and catching his own fumble with an adorable tumble. Playing with great consistency, Mimosas topped off the game with some bubbly throws and catches from Torch, Ava, and Sammy. Despite the Fronds’ late bloom, Mimosas came through for the win 15-8.

The late game was a battle of the elements. Water vs Air. Rain vs Wind. Sky vs Storm Clouds. Sky Bisons came out hot like a fire ferret, taking Purple Rain to half at 8-2. Purple Rain turned into a downpour in the second half and closed the gap at 11-7 - however, it wasn’t quite the monsoon they needed, and the Sky Bisons swooped away with the victory 15-8. Super fun plays had by all, including a double D from Flynn.

Ice Ice Babies' win and Purple Rain's loss tie the two teams atop the standings again, with Purple Rain holding the tie break having defeated the Babies 15-7 in their only meeting of the season so far. However, the two teams play again on Monday with first place on the line. Sky Bisons are playing like Aang gave them an apple. They have won four games in a row, climbing to third place in the standings.
