It was a beautiful evening at the Kiln.

As New York continues to reopen, DiscNY has given our league the go-ahead to make our own decision about masks in games. The captains have been polling their teams to see if players have concerns about playing without masks. So far, they have not heard from anyone who prefers to remain masked, so we are dropping the mask requirement. Masks are optional. However, if you have any concerns about this, please feel free to speak up. Our top priority is still the health and safety of players.

At the early game, I believe the White team observed Zay's birthday since we were rained out on Monday. I saw some ice cream cake. Red celebrated by giving Zay his first L of the summer season. The final score was Red 15 - White 12.

In the late game, Black faced off against Blue. Both teams were down on numbers, but still had a few subs. Black took an early lead 3-1, with Bobby all over the field on defense. Blue came back to tie, playing good defense of their own. Blue held a two point lead at half and went on to get their first win of the summer season. The final score was Blue 15 - Black 11.
