Blood was savage once again, and there was wind... oh so much wind... filling Black Pearl's sails. At one point in the game, a fox appeared. A real fox. It trotted down the hill and took one of the cones from the end zone. Apart from that highlight, the game was well in hand (or was it hook) for Black Pearl. Final score was 15-6 Black.

Scooby Blue could only muster four official snack lovers for the late game, so the Polar Bears got the win by forfeit. Some of the Pearl and Blood players stayed to join in a spirited pickup contest. Marisa also brought a kite, which was probably the most appropriate thing to happen at the Kiln all night.

A reminder, we are celebrating our Fall Halloween games on Monday. Wear a costume you can play disc in. If you play for Black Pearl, your costume must be a pirate costume. It is expected that you speak only in pirate. Candy will be served (in addition to whatever snacks Scooby Blue will bring).

The Halloween games will also mark the end of the regular season. Playoffs will begin Thursday, 10/24. Seedings are still too close to call!
